Brussels Group This SIS was first launched in 1997 and has been meeting on a regular basis at the TII Brussels office ever since. The TII secretariat is responsible for calling the meetings and setting the agenda, while the meeting itself is moderated by the Brussels Group consultant, Gavin Thomson of UK-based member organization, Helix Advisory Services Ltd. Benefits for members are the following: - Information meetings held in Brussels to discuss current bidding opportunities under the EU Framework Programmes and other relevant initiatives - Briefings by EC officials on new calls as well as on the content and methodology of applications - Advice and feedback from the Brussels Group consultant on project application procedures - Assistance with project writing, upon request, from the Brussels Group consultant - Assistance with partner search and the provision of official supporting documents, from the TII secretariat.
