A five-day skills development course for the technology transfer and innovation support professions, delivered by seasoned practitioners from around Europe.
2009 TII Annual Conference will be held in Tessaloniki (GR), organised in colaboration with SEERC.
EVENTS PLANNED AND COMPLETED IN 2006 & 2007 & 2008
From 9 to 14 March 2008, Innovation Tour to Israel: this new initiative intends to put the spotlight on good practice schemes in place in different regions to support and promote university spin-offs and academic entrepreneurship. The first tour consisted of site visits to some of Israel's most effective and successful spin-off programmes run by its leading research institutions.

The purpose of this second Innovation Coach Speed Dating event is to create opportunities for long-term collaboration between innovation support players in 10 RIS NAC regions and representatives of innovation support organizations from across the European Union for developing further R&D projects (FP7 and ERDF projects) and business (technology transfer deals, studies, training, local representation, joint ventures,…).
9 October 2007, Workshop on Integrating Innovation Support Services at Regional Level, Brussels (B)
TII is organising a two-hour workshop on the above theme as part of the programme of the Committee of the Regions Open Days. Four speakers from Austria, Finland, Germany and the UK will present their experience of such integrated models and a representative of DG Competition will present the new Community Framework for State Aid for R&D and Innovation.

6 July 2007, Innovation Coach Speed Dating event, Warsaw (PL)
The first Innovation Coach Speed Dating event offered participants a cost-effective introduction to the innovation scene of 5 Polish and 2 Baltic selected RIS regions: Silesia, West Pomerania, Wielkopolska, Opole, North and North West Bohemia, Warmia and Mazury, Latvia and Tartu with South Estonia.
