TII members are promoting or providing high quality innovation support and technology transfer services to firms, with the ultimate aim to develop the knowledge economy and boost the wealth creation process.
The association creates a vibrant hub for members to share professional experience and good practice, to facilitate business opportunities for them and to support them in their technology
transfer and innovation assignments. It does this by organizing conferences and training events, by pursuing specialist activities through dedicated sub-groups and by offering high added value web-based tools.
TII brings together innovation and technology consultants, technology brokers and intellectual asset advisors, university and research centre transfer offices, regional development agencies and chambers of commerce, science parks, innovation centres and incubators, contract research organizations and engineering consultants, government ministries and agencies and sectoral professional organizations. This is TII’s wealth and strength; all of its members are promoting or providing high quality innovation support and technology transfer services to firms, with the ultimate aim to develop the knowledge economy and boost the wealth creation process.
2008 TII Summer School
This year's summer school will take place at the Scuola Internazionale di Alta Formazione - SIAF International School for Advanced Education in Volterra.
Together with partners, Calibre Communications, RedOTRI, and ProTon Europe, TII offered another of its popular one-day knowledge transfer specialists' Science Marketing Clinics in Valencia.
At the close of its 2008 conference, TII issued its conclusions/recommendations on regional networking and international partnerships for innovation support.
