The Knowledge Vine is an initiative launched by TII member, UMIP - University of Manchester Intellectual Property. It brings together on the same web platform - www.theknowledgevine.net - a number of regional-based and international user groups which specialise in different areas such as SME support and research commercialisation. The TII Knowledge Vine Group is reserved exclusively for TII members and focuses on:
a) identifying industrial and research partners at European level for projects in the making
b) tracking down new technologies and technical expertise across frontiers
c) seeking technical or market research information for technology commercialisation and innovation projects
How it works
2) You activate your account from the activation email you receive
3) You select the group(s) you wish to join (you will find other useful groups in addition to the TII one which you may have an interest in joining). The TII Knowledge Vine Group can be found by clicking in the list of Knowledge Vine User Themes on "For SME support professionals" and "For the IP commercialisation community".
4) Whenever you have a question or inquiry and think that the community of TII members could help you find the answer, you simply send a one-sentence question to the following e-mail address: tii@theknowledgevine.net
5) If anyone in the group knows the answer - or can give you a helpful lead - they will contact you directly.

Interested in joining?
TII members can go directly to "ttp://www.theknowledgevine.net and register. Once they sign up for the TII Knowledge Vine Group they will be approved automatically by the moderator. Non-members should contact the TII secretariat first at tii@tii.org to discuss becoming a member and to enjoy the full benefits of membership.
