Innovative SMEs, and in particular those providing/driving breakthrough/disruptive market-creating innovation, struggle to get access to finance because of the difficulty of investors to properly assess the market potential of proposed innovations (skills gap and high costs). 
The call aims to target these informational asymmetries at their source to help investors with decision making by signaling positively technologically rigorous and promising projects, hence lowering the risk and costs of such an assessment. The action will consist of:
• The design and development of (a) methodolog(y)(ies) and related tool(s) providing (a) technological assessment(s) / rating(s) of technologies (being) developed / carried out by EU and AC innovative SMEs seeking investment for their growth;
• The testing of the above-mentioned technological assessment / rating methodolog(y)(ies) and related tools with different groups of investors (e.g. business angels, VC, banks (including promotional banks);
• The development of a deployment plan of the above-mentioned methodolog(y)(ies) / tool(s).
